History of "Breakfast with Santa"

The idea was first shared with Dawn, Michele, and Karlene by a REALTOR® from Texas, Barbara Farner. She had been doing this event for her clients for many years. Barbara generously allowed the group to replicate her idea out in California, as she felt Christmas is for children everywhere.

Dawn, Michele, and Karlene joined together to put on this event each year for all their clients. They thought it would be a lovely way to thank them for their support and business throughout the year.

In 2004, Lori Ojeda joined the group of sponsors. Lori has taken the Santa pictures and contributed the film and photo covers for each family every year. Her husband Tony and son Joseph help collect the donations and show off the Sharkmobile each year.

The four women believe the holidays are a good time to share with their clients and give back to the community. To do so, they ask their clients to donate a toy for Toys for Tots, or food for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Over the years they've added games for the children, balloons, clowns, face painting, and Mrs. Santa. Each year they bring in something new to add to the fun of the event.
